"Moab, and the Hagarenes; Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek; Philistia with the inhabitants of Tyre: Assyria...." Why will Abraham keep company with a son who hates the truth of his God, and wants to worship idols, let alone build a temple for pagans.

To say Allah is the greatest presupposes a pantheon of gods of which Allah is the greatest of them all. We are to worship the Creator, not the creature.

The base of this story is true. It caused a big scandal for the early Muslims because the pagans said that a real prophet would never do such a thing. Marrying your adopted son's wife was considered incest in their culture.

Not all people of this world use the solar calendar. Muslims calendar is Lunar, based on the circle of the moon as control by the Mighty and Mercy of Allah.
