  Saints day and feast? Isn't this part of pagan Catholicism? Is there a Bible text which suggests that believers should celebrate a feast day for a dead saint?

  Come now, lots of Bibles have Bible references, such as Study Bibles which include commentaries, maps, dictionaries, concordances, church history, etc. Maybe it wouldn't have rattled you so much if they had called it an Angli ...

  Come now, lots of Bibles have Bible references, such as Study Bibles which include commentaries, maps, dictionaries, concordances, church history, etc. Maybe it wouldn't have rattled you so much if they had called it an Anglican Reference Bible? At any rate, the words "Sola Scriptura" is not found anywhere in the Bible. Instead what we do find in 2 Thess 2:15 is this: "So then, brethren, stand firm and hold to the traditions which you were taught by us, either by word of mouth or by letter." Furthermore, Jesus said (Mt 16:18-19) "And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the powers of death shall not prevail against it. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” Jesus DID set up Peter as head of His Church. Search and see (compare Mt 16:18-19 with Isaiah 22:20-22 - every Jew would have recognized the formula of handing on the position of stewardship or prime minister who acts in the place of the King with full authority.)
