  The ways of deception are the ways of the devil. Let's not fall for his trick that a moon god can also be the God of heaven (Yahweh). We are to "submit to God, and resist the devil, and he will flee" from us (James 4:7).

  "The heart is deceitful above all things, and it is exceedingly corrupt: who can know it? I, Yahweh, search the mind, I try the heart, even to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his doings." Jeremiah 17:9-10
  
  God's love for us is always redemptive, even when we have been deceived by false prophets and idols of the heathen. God reads our minds like an open book; let's not deprive ourselves of the joy of a redemptive relationship with him.
  
  "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope in your latter end." Jeremiah 29:11.
  
  Trust God, not another man.
  
  "Thus says Yahweh: Cursed is the man who trusts in man, and makes flesh his arm, and whose heart departs from Yahweh." Jeremiah 17:5.
  
  Why trust God, and not another man?
  (because God wants to be our sustainer and preserver, even in adversity)
  
  "For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, who spreads out its roots by the river, and shall not fear when heat comes, but its leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit. Jeremiah 17:8.

  1. An Arab Christian may call his God Allah, but will quickly explain to you that his God is not the same as the Allah in Islam because in Islam Allah does not have a son. His God sent his Son, Jesus Christ into the world , not to judge the world, but the world through him might be save saved (John 3:16-17). Secondly, he might refer to John 10:30-33.
