In a world of sin, socio-economic problems will always be realities we have to deal with. They have been so since Adam left Eden, and they won't go away today or tomorrow. Let's get used to it, and work hard. David Livingston recognized this fact, and made it his motto: "trust God, and work hard."
God's grace is our greatest asset in a world which has known sin and its effects. The earlier we recognize this fact, the greater will be the resources we will be able to use as coping mechanisms during our earthly pilgrimage to combat temptations to sin mentally, physically, spiritually, socially, and economically.
God's grace is always sufficient for our needs.
"...My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me...." 2 Corinthians 12:9.
A choice of a sinful lifestyle is our greatest liability. God solved the sin problem by giving us His grace (unmerited favor) to live the life of grace.
"Now we find that the Law keeps slipping into the picture to point the vast extent of sin. Yet, though sin is shown to be wide and deep, thank God his grace is wider and deeper still! The whole outlook changes - sin used to be the master of men and in the end handed them over to death: now grace is the ruling factor, with righteousness as its purpose and its end the bringing of men to the eternal life of God through Jesus Christ our Lord."
Romans 5:20-21, Phillips.
"...My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness...." 2 Corinthians 12:9.

How many prayers has all the religious people prayed but still calamities happens? EBOLA, AIDS, HEART ATTACKS, MALARIA, BLOOD PRESURE, PERSONAL ECONOMIC DESASTERS, ENVIRONMENTAL DESASTERS, PERSONAL LIFE HARDSHIPS, WARS, POLITICAL DESASTERS etc. ect. All based on common logic, but the gullibles will lets themselves always be exploited. EVERYONE IS HIS/HER OWN ENEMY, cos of not be able to take their own responsibilities to solve things themselves. You are not able to solve your own personal problems but want to solve the world problems? What a paradoxic.
