As a man of God myself, all well groomed ministers would tell you that it is possible to know future events through the word of knowledge and word of wisdom but you may never get to know key issues about your own life. This is exactly where T B Joshua finds himself.
For example America is able to use their intelligence to advice countries of impending terrorist attacks such as the one in Kenya and other countries but were unable to discern 9/11 or the New York marathon bombing. Does this mean USA have no intelligence and are a charlatan nation.
Gentleman your argument on this score is poor. A doctor who is able to diagnose cancer in others was unable to discover he had a cancer and died of it means he is a fake? This can't be.

There are countless people all over the world who have testified receiving their healing through praying along with him on TV or through the use of the anointing water. Does it mean these people have ben bought and paid money to claim what they claim? For your information, there may be other things about the man of God himself that he cannot know. 1. No prophet even the most anointed knows everything. From Abraham down to Moses through to Elijah and John the Baptist, they did not know everything.
Elijah visited a woman who prepared him food and gave him som where to rest and her son died and Elijah said The Lord has hidden this from me and I did not know.
Check Deuteronomy 29:29, that there things which God keeps as a secret so to state that a prophet knows everything to happen is a big error.
Even Jesus said concerning the hour and the day no man know etch not even him. So on earth he Jesus didn't know everything how much more a prophet.
I am not by this saying TB Joshua is of God or not my issue is to let people understand the prophetic ministry. A lack of understanding of this ministry is what caused the writer to come out with this article published by ghanaweb.
I recall the bible talks about comments passed on Jesus, they said he healed the sick and raised the dead, now heal thy self and come down from this cross. On this same ground if Jesus was here today many of the fault finders here would ignored him and branded him as a false preacher.

Even as a scientist, i have read enough of the bible to know that while apostle paul was awakening the dead and healing people he could not help his hunchback ailment. Jeremiah was incarcerated, and john the baptist was decapitated.
It is sad that men like you speak of things you know nothing about. The few times i heard tb jodhua, i saw a humble man who preached holiness, love, and giving. Contrast that with the dud pastors who produce no evidenice with their much preaching, and lace their fancy speeches with appeals for money to buy yet another expansive home. I have a personal friend who got totally cured of an ailment through tb Joshua's ministry so I can attest to his authenticity. Is he human? Yes. Can he make mistakes like peter did? Yes. Most rationale Christians would rather adhere to his brand of Christianity than those philosophical sermons that are reharshed year after year. Tb Joshua has made a lot of enemies and so it is not surprising that a lot of pastors would like to see him gone because he has become a yardstick of what a truly called man of God should be like.

Whatabout Jesus, at the time of His death? This is somebody who was healing the sick and raising the death, and yet He died one of the most shameful deaths. But it was just a matter of days, and the approved Son of God was of greater power and approval. Prophet T.B, we are all behind you and praying for you. Its a matter of days and your God will restore you with 'a greater name' glory and favour.
The author should know that 'getting into trouble' or having a problem doesn't mean you are not a true child of God. In fact, some cases, problems are even a sign that you are an approved man/women of God. Consider Daniel, the three other Hebrew boys, Job, Joseph,Paul etc.

It may surprise the writer to know that prophets are not God and don't know everything. Unless the writer is saying that the dead underneath the debris had died long away but their bodies were been used for something else, and that the collapse had exposed real juju practice going on.

I have gone through quite a number of the comments, and I am very glad about many intelligent responses made, so far, to debunk the fallacies of Leo Igwe, the writer of this article.
The arguments presented in the article fall short of common logic and maturity.
Could people not have questioned why John the Baptist of all people (the one of whom Christ spoke of as being greater than all those born of women) was held in incarceration and even maliciously put to death by wicked Herod.
When Christ was on the cross, did not many say to him, "IF you are so and so why not save yourself"
And think of many of the early Christians who were fed to the lions. Each of the apostles was put to heinous death, except for the apostle John(not John the Baptist) whom under wicked Emperor Domitian could not be put to death (survived boiling oil a few times), because Christ had said of him "If it is my wish that he remains until I come, is that of concern to you (that is to Peter)", that is the fact that he was to remain(alive) until he receives the accounts of the end times, as recorded in the Book of Revelation!
Ladies and gentlemen, the way we respond to accidents, or challenges in general, matters so much to God, because at the end of the day, it would not be the authenticity of the Prophet (and his Ministry) whom we are questioning, but rather, we may be offending God.
The Prophet and his Ministry has blessed many, people often at the verge of hopelessness and even death the evidences of which are superfluous.
Can we not be a bit unselfish and come to terms with what has happened , so that by being tune with the Holy Ghost, God himself will give us, especially the families of the victims, the grace to endure and forgive.
This is important, so that it will not give the enemy the opportunity to champion his course. And for many of us who believe in the Ministry, this is the time to rally behind the Prophet and his Ministry through prayers and divine words of encouragement. Let us remember that God is watching closely the development of things.
I must say that, what has happened would also humble him the more, and also a strong sense of an awakening and direction to which the Ministry would be towed. And obviously his relationship with the Lord would be strengthened and deepened.
The understanding of all things belongs to the Father of Celestial Lights in whom there is no turning of shadow, from whom all good and perfect things come from.
Job, once, questioned "Shall we receive good from God and shall not receive evil?"
There are people who are talking about suing. I think that is going to far.
Let us remain sober and prayerful, for God is God. He has ways of giving back to us, even in generations upon generations, within families because of the forgiveness and mercy exercised in challenging times like these.

It is not about making a blind comparison, but we want to project the fact that unforeseen circumstance befall us all, according to the book of Ecclesiastes, and for believers in Christ we draw comfort from the experiences that Christ, our high Priest, went through. Indeed, he is interceding for us always before the Father.
There is a divine WORD for every situation, sometimes it comes to encourage and strengthen the individual after a predicament.
Everyone need to equip himself with the WORD so that in circumstances, we would not be speaking or commenting ignorantly.
Jesus said, "if they have persecuted me, they will persecute you also".
This divine utterance from our Lord was, and continues to be a source of strength for early Christians, until now.
The call of God on a persons life comes with many challenges, and we ought to be prepared to go through fire and be refined.
Apostle Paul endured a lot of persecutions because, Christ had announced to him, at his call, that he was to suffer many things for the sake of Christ.
Our Lord, Jesus Christ, also says "In this world you will go through many tribulations, but take heart, I am with you always"
Finally, we are assured that the suffering in thus world cannot be compared to the glory which is to be revealed.
I encourage everyone to receive Christ and get baptized(by immersion) in the Name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost. Amen

I honestly belief that no individual or group of people who belief in the Ministry of SCOAN will go that far.
I thank the Lord that most(if not all) of the victims died in Christ, and there awaits them a glory which is to be revealed. Indeed, I do not think that anyone of the victims will endorse the suing of the Prophet or the Ministry for what happened to him or her.
The victim(s) may rise up in judgement against those who want to take this course, because of what has befallen them.
The Ministry of SCOAN has been a blessing to many South Africans,
and others and this is the time, people should exercise Mercy and come together in unity to stand with each other, the Prophet and the SCOAN congregation.
We should all know that we have a common enemy, Satan the devil, who aims at sowing seeds of confusion, even among believers, and we should be smart.

Judging by the physical alone, he has done so much for humanity-sheltering the homeless, giving people hope in life through giving them money for business start-up, financing the training of youth in vocations, restoring marriages, feeding the hungry and the poor etc. We should eschew from rejoicing and condemning people going through a moment of calamity. I've been seeing some videos. And it looks very dark, strange actions go on there. Yes, they acussed Jesus of using magic to heal. But Jesus is our Lord, and was healing with Devine power. Check Deuteronomy 29:29, that there things which God keeps as a secret so to state that a prophet knows everything to happen is a big error.
Even Jesus said concerning the hour and the day no man know etch not even him. So on earth he Jesus didn't know everything how much more a prophet.
I am not by this saying TB Joshua is of God or not my issue is to let people understand the prophetic ministry. A lack of understanding of this ministry is what caused the writer to come out with this article published by ghanaweb.

Leo, there is nowhere in the Bible that teaches that a Prophet of God knows everything that is going to happen. T.B. Joshua I believe reveals only the things God has shown him. If you have any axe to grind, go and grind it with God. After all it is God who did not show TBJ what was going to happen. TBJ is just a channnel. Sometimes too, God may reveal something but if the prophet is not sensitive to the spirit of God (mind you he is human) he will not catch it. There are a whole lot of things that can block water from going through a pipe. Even if TBJ wasn't sensitive to God's Spirit, still the premise of your article is wrong. The fact is a prophet of God is still a human being with lots of limitations. I believe it's not everybody TBJ has prayed for got healed. If someone does not get healed you still can't blame the pastor. God does whatever He wants, and no one questions Him.
