The Church has no option than to state a strong position against the destruction of the environment, human rights abuses and the exploitation of our natural wealth which ends up impoverishing our people"

  But unfortunately the church's attention instead has been on manipulating and fleecing the poor in the name of God, how sad! More so, human factor in this 'big issue' has had from the past to present the same churchy people involved than any other. And I mean from the multinational companies to particularly local and national governments and people involved in these 'ills' mentioned here have all Christian or other religious background, so how are they going to rise against their own deeds? Would a kingdom now divide against itself?
  
  Anyway, I think all problems in the article as the theme suggests have just one big cause 'human incapability'. There is none a blessing of God or 'no god' on this earth than human beings. And that from the world's landscape peoples that have been able to develop their human capital base have over the period have advanced civilization, dealt with challenges and act as standard measure for other 'senseless' humans to follow.
  
  All of this writer's complaints I repeat boil down to one cause that is few myopic or glaucomatous elites leading multitude of 'full blown blind' people. The solution is get your eyes open as Adam and Eve did and cover your nakedness.

  Well, the 1992 Constitution was an exercise in futility and does not reflect the wishes and aspirations of Ghanaians. Please check the circumstances upon the constitution was established: the 1979 Coup was purely a tribal coup. This goes back to Jan 13 1972. Busia was the legitimate Prime MInister after wining elections. He was from BA Region. IK Acheampong removed him from power under the pretex that the military had been sidelined in the national development. Remember the tribal tension between the Brong and Asantes historically. At the time BA was seperate from Asante REgion. Boakye Gyan became upset and had a long standing enemity with Acheampong. Akuffo came to power. As an Akyem person he was disguested about an Asante, Acheampong and his womanizing lifestyle. But remember the historical enemity between the Akyems and Asante and the Komfo Anokye and creation of Asante Kingdom. Also, Afrifa an Akyem is beilieved to be the person who designed the killing of Kotoka after a coup. Kotoka was an Ewe. Hence the removal of SMCI and II by Boakye Gyan. Rawlings was put in by Boakye Gyan to cover up the tribal basis for the coup and to win the Ewe and the so-called junior officers. Look at the uncessary tribal manipulation or undertones in Ghana's politics, which is affecting the critical issues that need to be addressed.
  The present Ghana Constitution was directly copied from that of Kenya as an English and former colony of Britain. The PNDC after evolving from AFRC and wanted to prove itself to serve Ghana. Market women, students labourers, and many CDR, PDC illiterates with few educated people were assembled and manipulated to vote on in to usher in constitutional regime. The Ahowoi brother, Kwesi Botchwey, PV Obeng, DF Annan and some other few Ghanaian and tribal elite designed this tactic to continue to rule the country as hereditary system. This the problem of the constitution. Many articles are just blunt and have not sub-subsection as to measures and counter measures on critical issues. The change will require 2/3 majority. No political party has so far won that 2/3 majority in parliament.
  
  My brother, Ghana is in state of decadence. the Church is now extorting the unsuspected people in Ghana under the guise of promise of divine help. Only ignorant people will beleive that! There more than the eyes can see. There is simmering anger. People don't understand what history is about. We are taking things for granted, because we have a wait and see attitude to our issues. Please reach more. The article sounds theoretically good, but the REALITY is missing and must be addressed.

  To agree with pastor Chris of saturday ministries, quoting the book of Roman saying righteousness is a gift, so eternity is also a gift of grace which came from the savior Jesus Christ, who was also gift from almighty to die on the cross of calvary to authenticate the almighty plans of salvation onto man.
  
  For God so love the world that he gave his only begotten son, who so ever believes in him should not perish. Here within the almighty's plan of salvation he can give gift to those he chooses without the persons merits, as it happens to Moses, David, Daniel, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Noah and many more in the old testament. For the new testament men have to come through his salvation plan through the Savior son Jesis Christ to learn about faith ,love,hope,peace,joy,strive,lawlessness and other attributes of the bible.
  
  We also learn that the bible as in Quoran both have truth and lies within them. A persons best is to choose the truth, that comes from Ibrahim(Abraham) and Isaac(issa) as father and son; then Allah(Almighty God) and son Anabi- Issa(Saviot Jesus Christ). Missing these four characters makes your religion a fake.
  
  Does the Pope has children of his own? if he has how does he got them? By dying on the cross of calvary? What role does he play for the body of Christ Jesus? How did Clinton-Bush-Obama give peace,faith and freedom to the world? Shedding their own blood to save people? or other people blood?
  
  It is your call to answer these questions, if their claims are from the source and destinations I am talking about?

  The things that are happening in the earth now are birth pangs that Jesus spoke of, and the groaning and travailing of the creation that Paul wrote of.
  We had better focus on God.
