  It's customary for the clergy to wade into important national discourses, and since the voters' register issue is no exception, Dr. Martey's comments are justifiable. However, since the Moderator of the Presbyterian Church has been a frequent critic of the current government, he comes across as partisan working for the main opposition. Martey's call on the Electoral Commission to fix the Voters' Register problem would been perceived as broad-based if he had channelled it through an umbrella organization such as the Christian Council of Ghana.

  It is a pity that the church at this point of time is not taking the time to see what the EC , DOING AFTER ASKING ALL POLITICAL PARTIES THE OPTION TO SEND THIER CONCERN TO EC.
  This shows how our so called churchs has been comprised in our political system and fighting the course of a particuler potical party.
  If the church wants society to take them seriius this is the time to be unbaised.
  Use the church to educate the society about the hell of diseases that are killing people who one think to know better but only read the bible so don't know anything.
  Our church if rhey want to play politics must say so to all.
