Well-done Most Reverend for this article which holds great promise to would-be adherents to this great message. I would however cautiously add that praying and fasting should not be taking or assumed as forcing the hand of God to answer our request but rather a form of seeking spiritual maturity by exercising self control through abstinence. when fasting and prayer is reduced to asking favours or seeking answers, it become something else, and that is where a pastor will excuse you by saying that your faith is strong enough. When we are able to resist the temptations of going through our everyday needs, we are strengthened spiritually to be able to overcome enticements that draw us down spiritually.
