Don't advise women to be selfish! It was that in the olden days because women were not given the chance to work, but I don't think they were lazy. It was just the tradition, and am sure some women are doing far better than what some of these pastors are thinking; and they must be recognized, and not be categorized as mere "BONUS" contributors.

When you marry, the traditional takes is that, you're ready, financially and morally, which is why it is preferable to just casual love, though many people go into marriage with no preparation at all. In the unique circumstances that you have your wife to contribute to maintaining your home, it's a plus or blessing to you. In other words, it's a BONUS.
