Police chief asked parents to encourage children to pursue education instead of indulging in galamsey. When a parent is unable to pay a child's school fees do you know how frustrating it is? When your electricity bill is higher than your rent how do you put three square-meals on the table? The kids going to do galamsey is not governed by choice but by necessity. Create jobs for parents to get something doing to avert such calamities.
