Certainly what the Imans are teaching does not resonate well with these killers!
There should be a reason why these young men spew their anger this way.

I am sure you will readily agree with me that not all Muslims are terrorists, neither does the religion appeal to potential terrorists. But social scientists and historians may not be quick to agree with me, but will undoubtedly let you know that global terrorism is headed by lslamic terrorism. Certainly, it is not hard to pinpoint the fruit of this eastern sub-culture and its power.
Central to lslamic culture and power is its Allah, and Mohammed, the sole prophet to the identity of Allah, and the norms for vertical and horizontal engagement within the Ummah and the outside world.
Organized as a religio-political entity, its aim initially was to give the Arabian peninsula a witness of a religion whose invisible leader Allah, and his appointed messenger Mohammed will transform the the peninsula to a theocratic governance similar to that of ancient lsrael.
But lsrael' s failure to submit to the terms of the of the first covenant or old covenant ( see Exodus 19:5:6, 24:7-8, 32:19)
caused the old covenant to fail. God then revealed the original means of salvation, the basis of the new covenant of grace through the symboilism of the sanctuary and its services in which the Christ to come was dominantly featured and obeyed and worshipped by faith (Exodus 25: 8).
The failure of many religious organizations stems from the fact of not learning from lsrael's God, the moral law and how to keep it by divine help instead of becoming enforcers of man-made laws.
Knowing God in Christ makes one law abiding, developping in him the fruit of the Spirit: "love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodnrss, faith, meekness, temperance; against which there is no law." Galatians 5:22-23. The Christian is therefore always mindful of moral uprightness: vertically to his God and horizontally to his neighbor.
The identity of his God, Creator of heaven and earth is in the sending of his Son to the world to save it from sin (John 3:16). The identity of Allah is crucial in lslam, as well. Allah was a historical tribal god of the Quraysh tribe of Mohammed. This god was for centuries worshipped with other gods in Prelslamic Arabia. Of invaluable significance, is the name Abdullah-- slave of Allah, Mohammed's father's name-- a clear indication that Allah was an idol of prelslamic Arabia whose worship preceded Mohammed and his lslam.
Mohammed started his ministry with the promotion of monotheism-- by destroying all other gods in the kabbah except Allah. Next, Allah received a promotion to the status of Judeo-Christian God--a status many Christians ever consider as blasphemy.
History bears record of the conquests by the use of the sword or its ominous use in proselytization of the unwilling kauffers of the Arabian peninsula. The rule of law was Sharia, not God's moral law which God is using for the judgment going on now in the heavenly court ( Ecclesiastes 12:13). Thus we see that Mohammed's greatest failure was not getting to know Jesus Christ as God who was sent by His Father to save man from his sins against God and his neighbor. The truely saved community of believers will not terrorize their neighbors, destabilize a nation by its own laws. Such a lifestyle can only come from the power of the living God.
