the symbol has to do with the calendar we Muslims use. we use the lunar calendar mark by the movement of the moon. the Gregorian calendar which is also known as the solar calendar is what we know to have months like January,February etc and has 365 or 366 days while the lunar calendar is short 11 days. think of it as this way, the month of Ramadan is the last month on the lunar calender like December. and before you get all defensive, the Chinese and many order countries have lunar calendar as well.

For instance, David before becoming a king, hid among thieves from persecution by King Saul, though, he was promising choice for God. He developed, some ways of the criminals while living among them. Therefore, trying to reach the kingdom of God with no Salvation might cause a problem to whoever, unless you meet grace and mercy at the gate, which might not be guaranteed. Reaching there in salvation has guarranteed because of blood atonement. You can question, demand and challange your stake before the great perfect judge of all times.
