  Mensa Otabil is a false pastor. He takes bible passages and securalizes them instead of spiritualizing them. For instance, in this message (Wise vs. Foolish Man), he secularizes wisdom in terms of building on enduring principles and long-term principles. These are Otabil's interpretation of the rock mentioned in the bible passage which the wise man builds upon. Typical of a false teacher, he does not say that the rock is Christ even though the bible says so (1 Cor 10.4). Elsewhere in the bible (Proverbs, etc), Christ is called wisdom, and His gospel makes a man wise unto salvation (2 TIm 3.15) All these are examples of spiritualizing the passage. But, he, and other false teachers who occupy the religious superstar landscape in Ghana, always use the ibible as a textbook for business and life principles at the expense of the gospel that saves sinners and blesses them with forgiveness of sin and eternal life through Jesus Christ. Beware of false prophets like Otabil.

  Your point is well taken. The message could be enriched by identifying Christ as the rock. However, you called him a false pastor for not saying Christ is the rock. Your conclusion is unfair and your reaction is extreme.
