  I'm getting increasingly frustrated with the number of ministerial appointments for a small country like Ghana with unhealthy financial resource. Or is it just another way of satisfying the cronies who made things happen for the ruling party? Can't we put the prerogative of the people of Ghana above party and personal interests? How do you achieve all those nonsensical promises by siphoning the little scarce income into the pockets of ministers who in my view would not change a thing in their portfolios? The country must rather benefit from ministerial appointees not the other way round. They must serve not to be served. What I see in a Ghanaian minister is to get bogged down with power, embrace the status-quo with no policy direction intended to alleviate the country's fiscal problems. Yet, our leaders continue to chat the same path and sometimes make things worse like Akuffo Addo's incomprehensible appointments of irrelevant new positions. Lord have mercy on your people!

  Ghana, is about the size of Oregon (USA) yet we have more ministers and deputy ministers than the US(secretaries) has in total.
