Some time this week, the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority (GPHA) under the Managing Directorship of Mr. Ben Owusu-Mensah, President Kufuor?s nephew, will be signing a US$200 million contract based on a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) that it has signed with SDV (Delmas), Maersk Line, top gurus of the NPP and the son of a topmost Ghanaian international civil servant to run the Tema and Takoradi Harbour Container Terminals which control 80% of the container traffic in and out of the country, leaving the 8 remaining stevedoring companies with a market share of only 20% traffic, and that the Agreement has not been presented to Parliament and is not intended to be presented to Parliament because of the huge contributions that SDV and Maersk made to the NPP in the elections and also huge sums of money in US dollars that have allegedly changed hands?
