10million Cash for Starlets..... before departure

The Black Starlets on tuesday had the last laugh,when UK-based FIFA Agent, Kaseey Duku, through his Ghanaian partner, Mr.Ransford Antwi, made a cash-Donation of 10million cedis to them.

According to Mr.Antwi, their Football Management Agency (Motiv-8) decided to make the cash donation,following newspaper reports that the Starlets had not been paid their allowances and bonuses.

Mr.Ransford Antwi, who is also the Director of Sunyani-based,Internally- recognised Space Fm,further hinted that they will make a further financial contribution, including NIKE football boots to the squad when CEO of Motiv-8 travels to Gambia for the Africa U-17 Youth Tournament next week.

Ernest Bruce-Smith, a Sports Presenter with Accra-based Peace FM,made the presentation on behalf of Motiv-8.

Coach Duncan who received the cash on behalf of his boys thanked Motiv- 8 for its kind, but timely gesture which he hoped will go a long way to bolster the morale of the team.He urged Ghanaians to remind them in prayers,as they strive ti lift the flag of Ghana in Gambia.
