The launch of the 2011/12 MTN FA Cup has been penciled down for Wednesday October 19, PSLSoccergh.com can exclusively reveal.
The FA Cup Committee organizers have been so impressed with the feat of the competition’s winner, Nania FC, defeating Glo Ghana Premier League champions Berekum Chelsea to claim the Sly Tetteh Super Cup that they are wasting no time to get next season’s competition underway.
A statement signed by member Kurt Okraku on the morning after Nania’s victory over Chelsea read: *“*On the back of OUR Nania FC’s historic victory over league champions Berekum Chelsea yesterday, to be crowned Super champions of Ghana football, the FA Cup committee wishes to announce that, launch of the 2011/2012 MTN FA Cup competition will be held on October 19th, 2011. All related issues and informations will be relayed soon.”
It added: “Bravo FC NANIA, We are proud of you.”
