FORTY-EIGHT clubs will be in action when this year’s Division One League kicks off at all the 24 centres this weekend.
In Zone 1A, Lions will face Republicans at Yendi, Yeji Stars versus All Stars at Yeji, Morin play Mighty Rocks at Navrongo while Savanna Stars lock horns with Jakpa Warriors at Tamale.
Zone 1B will see Upper West Heroes clashing with BA United at Wa, Bronkyempem face Pro-Sports at Techiman, Kintampo United host Kwamax at Kintampo while Topsymore face soccer Ambassadors at Sunyani.
In Zone 2A, Mine Stars will be home to QPR at Prestea, sensational White Eagles versus Kaaseman at Kumasi, Amansie United host Corners at Bekwai while Neoplan Stars face Gag Roos at Wesley College.
Odupong and Vipers will open the Zone 2B action at Ofankor, Salgado clash with Eleven Wise at Saltpond, Bafana play All Blacks at Takoradi while Dwarfs host Iron Fighters at Cape Coast.
Zone 3A will see Sportnet playing as guests to Mighty Jets at the Lottories Park, Sportive versus Rainbow at Tema Community Eight, Diamond Stars play Olympiakos at Akwatia while Afienya and Maamobi Youth do battle at Tema.
In Zone 3B, Khalid will host Voradep at Legon, Stay Cool host Power FC at the Kaneshie complex, Mighty Royals versus Warriors at Prampram while Home Stars clash with Freedom Stars at Ho.
Meanwhile the Division One League Board have asked all clubs to settle their officiating fee of ?1.5m by May 30th.
Teams who fail to comply with the deadline will not be allowed to honour some of their matches.
