Bashir Hayford, coach of Black Queens
Bashiru Hayford has apologized to the journalist who labelled him as technically bankrupt after Ghana’s lose to Mali in the ongoing AWCON 2018 tourney.
Speaking to the press ahead the Black Queens game against Cameroon on Friday, the outspoken the experienced gaffer said that he has been in coaching for 30 years and to label him as bankrupt isn’t respectful.
“I have been in coaching for 30 years, won several trophies and this is my 4th time of handling a national team and you tell me I’m EMPTY, naturally I will react but I’m sorry for that,” he emphasized.
“We have all been annoyed before but we later see our mistakes and apologize.”
He added, “To say I’m bankrupt means I have nothing. So he means I have no knowledge of coaching.”
