Footy-ghana.com can confirm that midfielder Kofi Abanga has signed a new two-year contract with former Premier League champions Hearts of Oak.
According to our sources, Abanga earned the new deal on the back of his return to full fitness after being bedeviled by injuries over the last 18 months.
Footy-ghana.com understands that Abanga, hugely admired by head coach David Duncan, will receive an amount in the region of GH¢30,000 for the duration of his new deal.
Abanga has been with Hearts of Oak since 2008, when he moved from Aduana Stars.
