Abedi Pele warns Ghana not to consider the three team system they now have to deal with as an advantage after Togo's pull out from the Nations Cup.
The three-time African Player of the Year tells KickOffGhana.com of his sadness at the Togolese incidents but says the opening game in which Mali and Angola drew 4-4 in a thrilling affair would have gone a long way to focus the attention on the football.
"What happened to the Togolese was painful but the opening game reminded us again what the Nations Cup is about: the colour, the quality of football and the thrills it provides", he says.
"After this Ghana must simply focus on playing and doing well. Three teams in a group can be more dangerous than four before when you make a mistake you don't have an opportunity to correct it. So for Ghana the margin for error is even smaller now."
