Ghanaian midfielder Moro Abubakar has threatened to severe ties with Serbian top-flight side Donji Srem if monies owed him are not paid.

The former Hearts of Oak captain, who moved to Eastern Europe last year after the expiration of his contract, claims not even a cent of his €100,000 signing on fee has been paid.

Abubakar was expecting a first installment of €34,000 but has since not heard from his employers.

“I have from now till June when the first season comes to an end, then will see what will happen. If nothing positive comes out of it then I will have no other option than to cancel the contract,” Abubakar is quoted by ghanafootballnews.com.

Nonetheless, the 23-year-old has been regular for Donji Srem and made 13 appearances in the league so far.
