Ghana international David Accam has stated that it is a great honour and a dream come true to make the Black Stars squad ahead of the World Cup in Brazil.
The in-form Helsingborg winger was named in the 26-man roster by coach Kwesi Appiah on Monday.
“It is amazing, this is what I have been dreaming of as a kid,” Accam told Goal Ghana. “I think is hard work, my team-mates and the good people around me. They support and encourage me every time and it has helped me to come this far.”
The wides man is also hoping to win silverware this weekend as his side face Elfsborg in the Swedish Cup final.
“For now I am gearing up for Sunday and I am focusing on the finals of the Swedish Cup against Elfsborg. I hope to help my team get to the ultimate.”
The 23-year-old winger is a product of the prestigious Right to Dream Academy in Ghana and previously played for Ostersunds FK.
