Helsingborg, who had Ema Boateng – Accam’s Right to Dream Academy mate, in action, pressed to take establish a lead but the host staged a fight.
However, a moment of brilliance inspired by the 23-year-old Accam won them the maximum points. Boateng laced well into a sequence initiated by Pálsson and chipped an inviting ball for Accam who raced to hammer home a patent finish to register his 11th league goal of the season.
Boateng was substituted in the 73rd minute while Accam played full throttle.
Accam has been drafted into the Ghana squad for the 2015 AFCON qualifier against Uganda next month.
