Ghana striker Dominic Adiyiah has officially terminated his contract with Ukrainian Premier League side Arsenal Kiev after the club was declared bankrupt.

In a statement released through his agent Christain Emile, the 2009 Fifa Youth World Cup MVP, will be able to join any club of his choice on a free transfer because of the current financial predicament of the Kiev side which has resulted in the club opting out of the top flight.

“Arsenal Kiev are being declared bankrupt and in fact have stopped competing in the Ukrainian Premier League. To my knowledge, unless there is a miracle, the club will cease to exist,” Emile’s statement read in part.

“Under these circumstances and the club's inability to fulfill their financial obligations towards the player, the contract between Dominic Adiyiah and Arsenal Kiev has been terminated by mutual consent. Dominic is now able to join a new club on a free transfer.”

Goal Ghana sources have it that the former AC Milan attacker is on the radar of several top clubs in Europe with German side Freiburg in stiff competition with Lorient and Club Brugge for the services of the 23-year-old marksman.
