The Ghana Football Association has released to Accra Hearts of Oak, the International Transfer Certificate for the transfer of the club?s former goalkeeper, Sammy Adjei.
According to an Africa Sports, the Accra side settled the $15,000 pre-condition of the football controlling body for the release of the international transfer certificate-ITC to Club Africain in Tunisia.
Though Hearts of Oak had transferred Black Stars? number one goalkeeper to the former Tunisian champions, Ghanaian FA boss, Dr Nyaho Tamakloe resisted the club?s attempts at demanding the ITC insisting that the FA would issue the document upon receipt of the soccer body?s 10 per cent of the reported $150,000 transfer fee.
The phobians argue that an MOU between the two clubs settled on payment in installments of $75,000 upon the receipt of the international transfer certificate. But the FA rejected Hearts? explanation.
Hearts of Oak last week paid the Ghana Football Association $15,000 for the release of the ITC.
The release grants the Tunisians the right to use Adjei in competitive competitions.
