Days after failing to make it to the G-8 semifinals, Ghana Premier League Champions, Aduana Stars have rolled out plans to engage Ivorian and Burkinabe sides as part of their preparation for their CAF Champions League game next month.
FootballMadeInGhana.com gathers that, the Dormaa based club will play Asec Mimosa from Cote d’Ivoire and FC Kadiogo of Burkina Faso to sharpen rough edges of their team.
Besides giving them a bit of international exposure, the Ghanaian league champions are confident that, the two international friendlies will add something good to their preparation.
Aduana Stars take on Al-Ettihad of Libya in the first round of the CAF Champions League in February. That game will be played in Alexandria, Egypt because of the political situation in Libya. The return encounter certainly will be in Ghana two weeks after the date in Egypt.
