Afful tracked by Hertha Berlin

German side, Hertha Berlin, are reportedly interested in Ghana defender Harrison Afful.

The 28-year-old full back has failed to agree new terms with his Tunisian club Esperance and is set for an exit when his contract expires at the end of June.

Afful has been linked with many clubs including two Egyptian giants – Al Ahly and Zamalek - with the latter said to currently have the upper hand.

There are also reported interest from clubs in the gulf region and the Major League Soccer (MLS) but new reports from German media outfit, Sport-90, now claim the side managed by Pal Dardai is tracking the Ghana international.

Hertha Berlin survived relegation scare this term and will compete in the Bundesliga next season.
