Afriyie Acquah hails vital 1-0 victory over Rwanda

Ghana and Torino midfielder Afriyie Acquah says it was vital that the Black Stars picked up all three points against Rwanda in Kigali.

A late Mubarak Wakaso strike gave the Black Stars all three points and ensured Ghana continued their unbeaten start to the qualification campaign.

Acquah who impressed in the game says it was extremely vital they picked up all three points on the day.

“We played a very good game and the win was the most important thing,” Acquah told Citi-Sports.

“We knew that the pitch was a challenge but we did the important thing by taking all the points which will help us going forward.”

Ghana is now top of Group H with six points from two games.
