Afriyie Acquah on target in Torino’s win over Pescara

Black Stars midfielder Afriyie Acquah scored in Torino’s 4-1 win over Pescara in the Coppa Italia on Sunday.

The 23-year-old doubled his side’s lead in the 33rd minute after Daniele Baselli had scored six minutes earlier for Torino.

Argentine midfielder Maximiliano Gastón López and Venezuelan international Josef Alexander Martínez scored two more goals to help the Serie A side cruise to a comfortable victory at the Stadio Olimpico di Torino.

Pescara got a consolation courtesy an own goal by Salvador Ichazo Fernández.

Acquah put up a remarkable display and lasted the entire game for Torino.
