Agogo agrees Zamalek move

Ghana striker, Junior Agogo will join Egyptian side Zamalek subject to international clearance.

The Black Stars player helped Nottingham Forest clinch promotion back into the Championship after he finished the just ended season as the Red's top scorer with 13 goals.

Agogo rose to prominence when he helped Ghana to third place during the 2008 African Cup of Nations, scoring three goals during the tournament.

The 28 year-old striker, a member of the Black Stars team seeking qualification for the 2010 African Nations Cup and World Cup has scored three goals so far in the on-going African zone five qualifiers.

The striker spent just two seasons with Colin Calderwood's side having joined from Bristol Rovers in August 2006.

Forest would miss Agogo's consistency in front of goal they prepare for life back in the second tier of English football.
