Wolfsburg's Ghana international Hans Sarpei could be heading for the Premiership next summer with Fulham said to be interested.
Speculation in the German press is rife that the midfielder will be on the move come the summer and the local newspaper, Wolfsburger Allgemeine Zeitung, says the 30-year-old has been watched by Craven Cottage scouts on several occasions this season.
The defensive midfielder will become a free agent at the end of the season as he falls out of contract at the Volkswagen-Arena and the London outfit will be keen to strike terms with him as soon as possible, to ensure they are not muscled out of a deal when the transfer window opens on June 1.
Sarpei, who was a member of Ghana's World Cup 2006 squad, is the Bundesliga outfit's longest-serving player after he joined them in 2001, but he has struggled to hold down a first-team berth this season after disagreeing with coach Klaus Augenthaler on several occasions.
