Ghanaian youth international Ahmed Yartey has begun trials with Swedish lower-tier side Huddinge IF, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm.
The 19-year-old central defender started the training at the club last week and is keen to impress the club’s technical team to hand him a deal after the end of his trial period.
Ahmed, a younger brother of ex-Ghana U17 star Ishmael Yartey, recently left Cheetah FC – a Ghanaian lower league club that sold Christian Atsu to FC Porto and is seeking a move abroad.
He can play across various positions in defence and in a defensive midfield role.
