Al Ahly fine John Antwi $11,000 for refusing to train

Egyptian giants Al Ahly have fined striker John Antwi US$ 11,000 for refusing to train with the team before their CAF Champions League match against ZESCO United.

Antwi is reported to have refused to train with the Red Devils ahead of last Friday's penultimate Group match in Cairo.

But the former Hearts of Oak man is expected to return to training as they prepare for their final Group game against ASEC Mimosas.

Antwi is joint top scorer at the Group stage of the competition with two goals.
