Ghana striker Asamoah Gyan claims his move to the Abu Dhabi club Al Ain is not complete after he flew out of Accra to complete negotiations on Sunday.
"I have not signed any contract yet", the 27-year old told BBC Sport. "We are still in negotiations and I am happy over there. I had a great season so definitely they want my signature. "
"I did not have any problem with Sunderland fans. They loved me and the coach was like a father but that is football. Al Ain made an offer and Sunderland agreed which means they were ready to make a deal. I thank the fans for their support. They really loved me and I appreciate that but life goes on."
