Striker Alex Asamoah says he is open to a move to any club so far as his financial demands are being met.
The ex Asante Kotoko player has been strongly linked to a January move to AshantiGold since his return from Algerian club Etente Setif after his contract was cancelled alongside Samad Oppong for non payments of transfer fees.
But the 25-year-old insists his options are widely open and is prepared to even join a lower division club capable of paying his wages.
“Football is now big business and therefore as a free agent I will join any club who demonstrates best financially how much they want me,” he told GHANAsoccernet.com.
“I am very much available to all clubs including ones in the first, second and third division so far as their offer meets my expectations.”
Asamaoh’s declaration puts him right in the mix of transfer activities this January especially with Hearts of Oak on the look for strikers this transfer period.
The possible move to the Phobians which will reignite the rivalry with Kotoko is well on the cards and Asamoah who is very much open to the move is brushing aside all under-currents characterized with transfers of this nature.
“Hearts and Kotoko is just like Real Madrid and Barcelona in Spain,” he said.
“Crossing carpets to Hearts and vice-versa will always cause some tension but I am not interested in that.
“I only want to play for any side including Hearts who will show financially how determined they are to have me so I would have no problem at all moving to Hearts.”
