Everton, England, Oct 22 -- There are signs that Alex Nyarko may get a second chance to prove himself at the English premier league side Everton. Nyarko may get a game sooner or later, but a lot will depend on an improved attitude.

Yesterday, Nyarko took a break from scratching the days off on his cell wall to score a humdinger for the Everton reserves.

The game was against Birmingham City down at Solihull. The hosts took the lead on 52 minutes when Luciano Figueroa headed home a Clinton Morrison cross.

Their celebrations were only brief though. Nyarko showed just how his agent found it possible to put together the highlights tape that persuaded the ex-Everton manager, Walter Smith to buy him, walloping a thirty yarder into the top corner of the net.

He also played well against Man city 4 weeks ago. "Flashes of brilliance combined with moments of mediocrity is a fair assessment" said one Everton fan.

The Everton first team midfield has not been perfoming well lately and Nyarko may be called up for this weekend's game with Aston Villa on Saturday.
