Alex Nyarko is Back!

ALEX Nyarko will begin his belated push for Everton recognition tonight when he turns out for the reserves at Middlesbrough. The Ghanaian international has been sidelined for six weeks after knee surgery but returned to training this week and will be handed a starting role in the North East.

Nyarko, who may be joined in the team by Francis Jeffers as the young striker continues his rehabilitation, arrived from Lens in the summer for ?4.5m with an excellent reputation in the game.

Both Lyon and Marseille are interested in acquiring his services but were unable to move for him during the French transfer window recently because of the player's injury.
