All Blacks hold Kessben to a 1-1 drawn game

Abrankese, (Ash), June 21, GNA - Visiting Gamba All Blacks F/C on Saturday held Kessben F/C to a 1-1 pulsating drawn game in their Onetouch Premier League encounter at the Anane Boateng Sports Stadium at Abrankese on the Lake Bosumtwi road. The visitors shocked the home team in the 10th minute when they took the lead through skipper Federick Aboram against the run of play. It was a beautiful goal by all standards as the skipper who was unmarked latched onto a cross from Obed Owusu before unleashing a 30-yard shot that went straight into the net.

It was a beautiful goal by all standards as the skipper who was unmarked latched onto a cross from Obed Owusu before unleashing a 30-yard shot that went straight into the net. Kessben after the goal re-organized themselves and committed more men upfront and the strategy yielded results as Emmanuel Bukarson capitalized on a defensive blunder to slot home the equalizer in the 15th minute. All Blacks' Alhassan Hamid was red-carded in the 57th minute for rough play on Edmund Owusu-Peprah of Kessben but the home team failed to take advantage of the numerical strength as they allowed All Blacks to dictate the pace of the game till the end of the match.
