All set for Ntobazana girl’s football tournament

The first ever ORPED Ghana – DLANA NTOBAZANA under 13 girls football tournament is set to come off at Adoagyiri – Nsawam in the Eastern region on Saturday.

The occasion will also be used to launch a community reading project for children in the area as ORPED Ghana continues in its quest to boost reading in the communities it works in.

Sports Director of ORPED Ghana Idrees Ari-Miyaa said in a statement that all is set for the event which has been scheduled for the Al – Rajhi Park, Adoagyiri.

He announced the theme for the event as “Moving the Goal Post for New Goals” as the organizers seek to give equal opportunity for girls to learn and play.

The event is scheduled to start at 9am – 5pm with six girls teams (Zongo Girls A and B, Adoagyiri R/C Girls A and B, Nsawam Central Girls and Adoagyiri Presby Girls A and B) all drawn from the area expected to participate in this tournament.

This is another ORPED Ghana initiative in partnership with the South African based Dlana Ntobazana, the Zongo Foundation, Social Welfare Department, FAWE FM, Office of the Assemblyman and Good Brothers Computer Centre, Nsawam.
