Ghana midfielder Michael Anaba is bidding his time to break into the Elche first team at the end of the season.
The 20-year-old is yet to feature for the senior team since he joined the Spanish outfit in August last year.
The former Asante Kotoko combative midfielder has been drafted into the youth team where he has featured consistently since he arrived in the European country.
However the former Ghana Under-20 star has told GHANAsoccernet.com he’s waiting patiently for his time to break into the first team.
“It’s been pretty good for me since I came here. I am enjoying my time and my game,” he told GHANAsoccernet.com
“At the moment I’m playing for the team B. I am working hard to break into the first team.
“It’s one step at a time and so I’m not in a rush at all. The right time will come.
“So far I have played in all the matches in the second B division and we’re 6th on the table.
“Hopefully things will turn around next season. I’m really happy to in this club.”
Anaba was a member of the Ghana Under-20 squad which won bronze at the 2013 FIFA U20 World Cup in Turkey.
