Tottenham’s move for Andre Ayew from Marseille may be hijacked by Serie A giants Roma, according to reports.
Ayew has rejected a new contract with Marseille, which led to Spurs being linked with the winger who has scored six league goals for the French club this season.
Spurs had entered negotiations for the player but Roma sporting director Walter Sabatini is keen to bring him to the Stadio Olimpico, according to Sporting Witness.
Fortunately for Spurs fans, the Ghanaian international would prefer a transfer to the Premier League and Daniel Levy is more likely to be able to satisfy his wage demands.
