Ghana midfielders Kevin-Prince Boateng and Anthony Annan were in action as Schalke beat Eintracht Braunschweig 3-1 in the Bundesliga on Saturday.
The former AC Milan player saw full action as Annan, who has just recovered from a protracted injury joined in the last 10 minutes. He came on for Julian Draxler in the 80th minute and helped boss the midfield.
The win kept the Gelsenkirchen side at the third spot of the German top-flight’s log.
Schalke had the first bite of the encounter through Leon Goretzka in the 17th minute before Klaas Jan Huntelaar doubled the lead in the second half.
Benjamin Kessel pulled one back for Braunschweig with eight minutes to end proceedings before Adam Szalai made it three for Schalke in stoppage time.
