Annan donates kits to his former school

Cape Coast, Oct. 15, GNA - Black Stars midfielder, Anthony Annan on Friday donated two sets of jerseys, 10 footballs, two sets of hoses and some boots to the soccer team of his former school, Ghana National College at a ceremony at Cape Coast.

The presentation was made on his behalf by his father, Mr Herbert Annan, accompanied by four of Annan's brothers.

He said it was his son's token to the school and has the hope that the kit will go a long way to help promote the sports in the school. Mr Theophilus Ampah, Assistant Headmaster in charge of Academics of the school who received the items, expressed gratitude of the entire school population to the Rosenburg icon for his gesture and urged other old students to assist the school to develop its sporting and academic pursuits.
