[Ghanaweb's Top 11] -- Just like he did last week against Piacenza, Stephen Appiah the Ghana midfielder gave Brescia 90 minutes of power and imagination, and made his way to the Serie A best 11 of the week.

Here are the rest

Marco Ballotta (Modena) – Against Roma, the veteran keeper confirmed the same, excellent performance of the previous week against Milan.
----------------

Lilian Thuram (Juventus) – Everybody knows that he doesn't like to play on the right, but the truth is that a player with his class can do everything he wants.
Jaap Stam (Lazio) – Against Torino, the Dutch defender played a really solid match.
Paolo Maldini (Milan) – Umpteenth great match for the Milan skipper, who was almost insuperable for the Perugia forwards and even scored the first goal.
----------------

Damiano Zenoni (Atalanta) – The Atalanta right wing played a really good match against Bologna, who had a lot of troubles on that side.
Stephen Appiah (Brescia) – Just like he did last week against Piacenza, the Ghana midfielder gave Brescia 90 minutes of power and imagination.
Enzo Maresca (Piacenza) - The former Juventus midfielder was dominating against Udinese, providing his team with class, determination and a fine goal.
Cristiano Doni (Atalanta) – The former Italy international bounced back from the disappointing performance of the opening match with a superb outing against Bologna.
Anthony Seric (Brescia) – Simply devastating on the left wing against Chievo. The winning goal was the deserved reward.
----------------

Alessandro Del Piero (Juventus) –Two goals and a fantastic performance both in the opener against Atalanta and last Saturday in Empoli. Alex is playing superbly, plain and simple.
Dario Hubner (Piacenza) – A goal, a post and a bar. It's always tougher to find the words for this 35 year-old kid, who keeps on scoring and playing superb matches.
