Ghana midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah has denied reports linking him to a move away from Italian champions Juventus.

Reports were rife in the media linking the versatile midfielder away from the Old Lady with a possible move to either of the Manchester clubs in England.

But the 24-year-old has refuted claims that he will leave this summer expressing his desire to stay on with Juventus.

“I had an excellent season with my club Juventus, and maybe that is why they are saying there are clubs chasing me, but I don’t know which clubs are chasing me,” Asamoah told the media in Ghana.

He added: “I want to be with Juventus and that is where I will be playing next season.”

Asamoah made over 26 appearances and scored two goals in the Italian Serie A and also featured in the Uefa Champions League.

The Ghana midfielder helped Juventus to win their second successive Scudetto and his first with the Bianconeri.
