Ghana's creative midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah admits he has heard from the grapevine of Chelsea and Arsenal's moves to contact him, but says that will not derail his Nations Cup ambitions.
The Udinese player has been described as the Black Stars’ creative force in the ongoing tournament in Angola.
The 21-year-old was happy about the speculation doing the rounds in some media quarters, but emphasised that he has not been personally approached by the English Premier League sides.
"I am an Udinese player. My ambition is to be in the team week in, week out.
"To be linked to Arsenal and Chelsea is a good thing but I've never been approached by those teams.
"If they are following me that is good and it means I am doing well, but now my focus is to bring the African Nations Cup to my country, nothing else," he said in a Ghanafa.org report.
