Ghana midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah became a father for the first time on Saturday to a baby boy.
The baby, born in Udinese, has been named Jason Kwadwo Asamoah.
Asamoah wrote on his official twitter: "I'm the happiest man alive. Welcome to the world Jason Kwadwo Asamoah."
His wife Bertha was married in December 2011 and a graduate from the University of Ghana.
Asamoah has been tipped to leave Udinese in the summer.
He played a key role on Sunday when his side beat Genoa 2-0 at home to enhance their chances of playing in the UEFA Champions League next season.
