Udinese midfielder Kojo Asamoah has dismissed speculation that has suggested he has been contacted by Arsenal and Chelsea.
The 21-year-old has been a regular for Ghana in their progress to the African Cup of Nations semi-finals to add to his burgeoning reputation at club level.
Arsenal and Chelsea are reported to have been tracking Asamoah for several months, viewing his creativity from a deep-lying playmaking role as a skill that could be nurtured into a top-level talent.
But while the midfielder is flattered by the rumours, he insists that he has yet to be approached by the Premier League rivals.
Asamoah said: "I am an Udinese player. My ambition is to be in the team, week in, week out.
"To be linked to Arsenal and Chelsea is a good thing but I've never been approached by those teams.
"If they are following me that is good and it means I am doing well, but now my focus is to bring the African Nations Cup to my country, nothing else."
