Nana Kwame Aboagye, who is the special aide to the Manhyia Palace Chief of Staff, after the announcement of the Asante Kotoko Board of Directors stated that there were plans to transform the team’s Adako Jachie training ground into a world-class facility.
“We want Kotoko to look like a professional club and so, we are planning to invest at Adako Jachie. We want to follow the best practices done by the world’s big teams like Manchester City, Real Madrid, and others. So we intend to start from a point.” he said
According to Oyerepa FM, the Adako Project is been handled by Chief Executive Officer of Joshob Construction Limited, James Osei Brown who together with Kofi Amoa-Abban and Martin Osei Kwaku Brobbey were recently added to the already formed nine-member Board of Directors led by Dr. Kwame Kyei, making 12.
Facilities such as changing rooms, training pitches, and other facilities will be built to give the facility a new look.
No further details have been disclosed but it is expected that the building which was started by Dr. KK Sarpong will be finished and serve as hostel facilities for the players as this will kick-start changes at the training ground.
